What if you could gather every single expert in the field of the primal/paleo lifestyle in one place? What would it be like to organize a symposium with all of the progressive minds and their take on the hunter-gatherer lifestyle? Well it looks like we won’t have to wait too long.
The Ancestral Health Symposium is the brainchild of Aaron Blaisdell, Brett Pottenger, and Seth Roberts. Their mission:
to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and translational efforts between research scientists, physicians, health experts/professionals, and patients who study and communicate about the human ecological niche and modern health from an evolutionary perspective to develop innovative solutions to our current health challenges.

March 13, 2010 WOD
“CrossFit Total”
Back Squat x 1
Shoulder Press x 1
Deadlift x 1
You’ll get 3 attempts per lift. Be prepared to submit your lift attempts when you get to the gym. We’ll run the lifts in the order listed. In order to remain “warm” during the lift attempts, additional racks and bars will be made available. There should be no more than a 3-4 minute wait between lift attempts. It’s recommended that you warm-up with a 10-8-5 set rep scheme, and stay warm with a 2 rep set, if needed. I recommend opening with your top lift from 8 weeks ago, and go up from there. Good luck to all those attempting new PR’s!!

I added my name to the list…thanks Phil for the heads up. Would be fun to get a big group together to attend and really dial in our knowledge base and potentially expand on our program for CFG.
