Heads up: registration for the Summer Strength Challenge at Level 10 CrossFit in Oroville opens tomorrow at 11am. Our workouts will still be squarely focused on next year’s Open and beyond (not on doing competitions in the meantime.)  Nevertheless, I suspect anyone who competes in the Summer Strength Challenge will do well. I’m always a huge fan of the workouts they put together and I’m mentioning it here because I love this event. If you plan on going, register soon because it always sells out.

June 22, 2012 Advanced WOD

Practice split jerk technique for 20 minutes

* Focus on footwork and landing position, with weight distributed evenly between both feet and sufficient lateral width to be stable. Make sure your feet land in the same exact position on every rep. Do not increase weight unless technique is flawless.

Then:

Muscle-up x 3
Run 200m
Rest 1 min
