The finals this weekend were a spirited event with some close competition. In both heats, the competitors laid it on the line and gave it their all. We saw lead changes, the effects of doing math while fatigued (“Guys, you’ve already lifted 12,000 lbs…”) and some incredible team spirit, including Scott and Mujtaba completing the final run together.
On a personal note, I really enjoyed having each and every one of our guests at CrossFit Genesis for the past 8 weeks. When I look at the photo below, I’m proud to have such a great group of people in our community. Who else would look so happy after completing that workout? Great job everyone!
As many rounds as possible (AMRAP) in 20 minutes:
pullups for max repetitions
Notes: Record total number of rounds and number of pullups completed each round. The goal is to perform as many pullups as possible each round. Yes, this means you are going to burn out and not be able to do many pullups in the later rounds. That’s okay, just keep doing one or two more than you think you can.
